Colour Icons

The works are paintings of single colours, illuminated by decorative bands of text inspired by medieval illuminated manuscripts. These words and quotations (in various languages) connect the paintings to the history of ideas. Together, they create a place somewhere between abstraction, spirituality and dreams.

Landscape

Catriona’s first love was landscape. She finds inspiration there, particularly in the beautiful lines, shapes and colours of the Yorkshire Wolds and coast line where she lives.
